With over 30 years experience at all levels in the special event industry we have the knowledge to support your managers, technicians and support staff with the training that can help them to create a safe site for all stakeholders, and the knowledge and skills to achieve their full potential with our continuing professional development courses.

Our courses are designed and written by our team in house to ensure that they are tailored to the challenges of delivering high quality events in a safe and knowledgeable manner. As well as being qualified to a professional level in the subjects they are teaching, our delivery staff are qualified trainers and assessors meaning your attendees have a rich and rewarding experience, and the message really sticks. We will come to you and train your staff at your own facilities on a timescale that works around your commitments.

Electrical Safety

Our course in electrical safety equips events managers, catering managers, technicians and crew with regulatory background and basic knowledge for safer events. This course can be tailored to your specific requirements but generally lasts around two hours.
 

 


Plans, drawings & CAD

This course introduces event planners and managers to the concept and interpretation of scale plans, and the creation of 2D layouts using Sketchup. Visual communication is key to interpreting client expectations into smooth onsite delivery. This course is usually undertaken over a full day.

 


Awareness of Working at Height

With falls from height being the main cause of injury onsite, this course raises safety and regulatory awareness for those who may be using or managing the use of access equipment onsite. This course generally lasts around two hours.
 

 


Manual Handling

The large variety and scale of equipment, set, staging and all the other various elements required to undertake an event raises challenges when loading and unloading into transport and venues. Our manual handling course teaches safe kinetic lifting techniques and handling of flightcases, set and access equipment. This course generally lasts around two hours.
